Our Approach to Care

Taking Time to Listen

Every individual has a unique story. We take time to understand symptoms, concerns, medical history, and personal circumstances before recommending treatment.

Supporting Patients & Families

Mental health and memory concerns often affect the people around us. We aim to provide clear guidance and support throughout the care journey.

Respect, Dignity & Compassion

Our approach is centred on helping every patient feel heard, understood, and treated with respect.

What to Expect During Your Consultation

A consultation at Pearl Clinic is calm, unhurried, and focused on helping us understand your concerns so we can provide clear, personalised care.

Your consultation begins with an open conversation. Dr Sin will listen carefully to understand your symptoms and concerns, medical history, and what has brought you to seek help. You are encouraged to share your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

If appropriate, further assessment may be required to better understand your condition. This may include questions about your mood, memory, sleep, thinking, behaviour, physical health and how your symptoms affect your daily life. You are welcome to ask questions at any time.

We would strive to understand your situation, and may ask questions about your memory, mood, behaviour, or sleep-related changes.

After the assessment, Dr Sin will explain and discuss your diagnosis (if any) with you as well as your recovery plan moving forward.

Your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs and goals. This may include medication, psychological therapies, specific lifestyle modification, further investigations or referrals to other healthcare professionals. The aim is to help you gain a clear understanding of your condition and work with you to develop a treatment plan that supports your recovery journey.

Insurance Claims

If you wish to make a claim through your employer or insurance provider, we can provide an itemised invoice and any supporting medical documents required for your submission. As coverage varies between policies, we recommend checking with your insurer or employer regarding your benefits and eligibility, as reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.
